A brand born out of the balance of chaos and order. “Scribbla” harnesses the power of freedom with the line and pen, the unusual and instinctive flow that comes with art. “METRA” is derived from the word “Metric” and incapsulates the ordered patterns and perspective work that are cohesive throughout the brand. ScribblaMETRA is an art and apparel brand with an sustainable approach to fashion and design. All garments are made with recycled materials. They are designed, hand painted, embroidered, drawn and sewn within Tasmania, Australia by Grace Chia.

Many creatures live in the ScribblaCity, it is an optically illusive city that changes form as you look at it in different ways. The symbols and patterns work as a language throughout the world. Grace has studied symbols for a couple years now and is fascinated with the gravity of line-work and how a simple recipe of lines can mean so many things to different people.
